Nozomi Networks Expands Management Team with Industry Veterans to Accelerate Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, June 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nozomi Networks, Inc., the pioneer in real-time cybersecurity and operational visibility for industrial control systems (ICS), today announced that it has added industrial networking and ICS security veterans Kim Legelis and Chet Namboodri to the company’s management team. This news comes on the same day that Nozomi Networks announced it has been named a 2017 Gartner Cool Vendor, and occurs at a critical stage in the company’s growth.

“This is an exciting period of growth for Nozomi Networks and I am thrilled to welcome such a wealth of talent to our management team,” said Nozomi Networks CEO Edgard Capdevielle. “Both Kim and Chet have a proven track record in industrial cybersecurity, are well-respected in this space, and are already having a significant impact.”

Kim Legelis has joined Nozomi Networks as Chief Marketing Officer. Since last year, she has served as a consultant for Nozomi Networks and now joins the company in a full time capacity. She is leading a team focused on marketing and brand strategies for rapid revenue growth and market leadership. Kim brings over a decade of industrial cybersecurity leadership and experience to Nozomi Networks. Before Nozomi Networks, Kim served as Vice President of Marketing for Industrial Defender, where she helped drive revenue to more than $100m, contributing to a successful acquisition by Lockheed Martin. She continued to serve in a Vice President of Marketing role with Lockheed Martin until 2015. Past experience includes senior marketing roles with Symantec, Cybereason and Core Security.

Chet Namboodri has joined Nozomi Networks as Vice President of Business Development, focused on building out Nozomi Networks’ global partner network. Chet brings more than two decades of cross-functional, multi-industry leadership and industrial networking and automation expertise to Nozomi Networks. Prior to Nozomi Networks, Chet held global industries leadership roles in solutions business development, partnering, marketing and sales at Cisco Systems, where he drove worldwide market leadership within industrial networking. Previously, Chet led growth and profitability for GE’s industrial controls and automation software business as a global marketing and business development executive.

Nozomi Networks has quickly emerged as an early market leader in the ICS Cybersecurity space. In March the company announced a new release of SCADAguardian. Throughout 2017 the company has seen strong growth with technologies deployed globally to leaders in key industries such as oil and gas, power generation, nuclear energy and manufacturing. The company also announced today it has been named a 2017 Gartner Cool Vendor.
