Reston, Va., June 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Constellis, a leading provider of operational support and risk management services worldwide, announced today that it has appointed three of Centerra’s senior management personnel to take on key executive management roles at the company. Constellis completed its acquisition of Centerra in April, a move that significantly enhanced the company’s U.S. domestic presence. Centerra’s CEO, Paul Donahue, will now serve as chief operating officer of Constellis while Rick Tye, former Senior Vice President (SVP) of business development for Centerra, will step into Constellis’ SVP role. Debbie Ricci, Centerra’s former CFO, will now serve as Constellis’ SVP of finance and accounting.
“We are excited to welcome Paul, Rick and Debbie to the Constellis leadership team as their reputations really precede themselves across the U.S. domestic security space,” said Jason DeYonker, CEO of Constellis. “They have each played an integral role throughout the acquisition of Centerra and in achieving a seamless transition of operations and services. As we continue our plans for diversification and expansion as the leading essential services provider worldwide, we will lean on their critical expertise and proven records in managing growth and change across their organization.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the operational and financial management of private and public organizations, Donahue will take on a significant role overseeing Constellis’ current operations domestically and across 40 countries worldwide. “I’m honored to lead the company at such a defining moment in its history,” said Donahue. “Now with more than 17,000 of the industry’s best and brightest personnel, we’ll look to leverage our newly combined scale, vertical integration, industry best practices, premier resources and top-notch compliance programs to provide best-in-class risk management services to our customers.”
Donahue previously served as Centerra’s CFO, its COO in 2006, President in 2010 and eventually CEO in 2012. He holds a wide range of industry certifications and received the PBA MBA Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008 and the PBA Free Enterprise Medal in 2013.
As Constellis’ new SVP of business development, Tye is responsible for the company’s business development, capture, proposals, marketing and government relations efforts. He too brings more than 25 years of experience in federal, state, city and special district leadership positions, and another 15 years in commercial and contract development. Before serving as SVP of business development and proposals for Centerra, Tye was vice president and general manager of WSI Iraq Operations, where he designed, implemented and led the largest contingency operation of firefighters in U.S. government history, at its height, generating annual revenue over $100M.
In her new role, Ricci will oversee accounting, taxation, financial compliance, payroll, billing and special projects. She has more than 20 years of experience as a financial executive for foreign and domestic operations at mid-market defense, technology and manufacturing companies. Ricci previously served as CFO for a leading counterterrorism firm during which she was named the CFO of the Year for mid-sized companies by the Washington Business Journal.
Constellis’ acquisition of Centerra united the industry’s two premier safety and risk management providers serving a broad range of customers, including U.S. government agencies (notably the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Energy), foreign governments, NGOs and a diverse mix of blue-chip commercial entities.
