Adelphi, Maryland, June 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Army, Army Research Laboratory, in Adelphi, Maryland, released on Monday, June 19 a sources sought notice in which it outlined plans to enter into a contract with a government contractor who can provide it with a range of Apple MacBooks and peripherals.
In its notice, the Army indicated its interest in gauging the interest, capabilities, and qualifications of certified small businesses (including those registered in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program, as well as those who qualify for one or more types of set-aside contracts) to provide the required products.
The relevant NAICS Code is 33411, and the NAICS Size Standard is 1,250 employees.

- To what extent each of the specifications can be met
- Type of business (i.e. commercial, academia); whether organization is classified as a large or small business based on the 1,250-employees standard that accompanies NAICS code 334111; and, if a small business, any applicable small disadvantaged status held (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), etc.)
