Stowe, Vt., June 26, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Half Moon Bay Golf Links, which operates a pair of world-renowned destination golf courses in the San Francisco area, plans to implement the Inntopia Commerce system to sell golf and lodging packages to their destination guests starting this summer.
With 36 holes of championship golf on two courses overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Half Moon Bay has never had trouble attracting golf enthusiasts looking for a bucket list experience. However, without lodging of their own to sell, stay and play packages have always presented a logistical challenge.
“Modern tee sheet software is great,” said Bill Troyanoski, general manager at Half Moon Bay Golf Links. “But if your tee sheet doesn’t communicate with all of your booking channels, it can make booking online difficult or impossible and lead to a sub-par experience for destination guests.”
Inntopia Commerce provides a single platform to book accommodations, tee times, and other activities. It does this by connecting to tee sheet systems, property management systems, and other software systems. Real-time rates and availability from those connections are then presented via a powerful call center application, as well as a responsive online booking engine that can be integrated into any existing website.
“We’re looking forward to offering our guests an easy-to-use, one-stop-shop to book stay and play packages with actual tee times, including real-time availability and rates,” said Troyanoski. “And we’re especially excited they’ll be able to book packages online.”
Half Moon Bay Golf Links partners with several area upscale hotels and resorts to offer stay and play packages. Inntopia will enable them to sell those packages in their own call center and through their own website, using real-time inventory and pricing from EZLinks Golf and their lodging partners’ source systems to give guests the best possible options and booking experience.
“Half Moon Bay is a perfect example of a golf provider that can use Inntopia to take ownership of package creation to increase online bookings and retain control of guest data,” said Inntopia CEO Trevor Crist. “There is a belief in the destination golf industry that true online booking is too complicated, too impersonal, and just won’t work. But with Inntopia, it works beautifully, and I can’t wait to watch Half Moon Bay’s online package sales start to roll in.”
By using Inntopia, Half Moon Bay will remain in control of pricing, give guests a one-stop reservations experience including the ability to reserve specific tee times, and see new stay and play reservations show up on their tee sheets in real time. They’ll be able to keep their lodging partners happy as well.
