FORTRUST Awarded Contract by Symbia Logistics

Leading 3PL provider selects FORTRUST as data center partner

DENVER, July 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FORTRUST, a leading data center and colocation services provider, announced today that Symbia Logistics, based in Edwards, Colo., has selected FORTRUST as their data center partner. Symbia Logistics is a privately held family business with more than 150 years of combined experience providing facility-based supply chain support to a variety of industries, including aerospace, chemical, dry grocery, health and beauty, industrial goods, kitting, and business-to-consumer fulfillment services across North America.

When Symbia launched their most recent expansion, they saw the need to engage a robust data center partner to support the consistent accessibility requirement for their critical IT applications from their diverse locations. In the past, Symbia had maintained their own in-house data center, but wanted the greater security and high availability that only a professional colocation data center can provide.

Symbia hired a consultant to facilitate their data center selection process, and after much analysis, he recommended FORTRUST in Denver. Symbia toured the facility and, impressed by FORTRUST’s attention to detail, resilient Tier III design, and high level of security, awarded them with a contract.

“With their procedural approach to colocation, it’s apparent that FORTRUST operates on a different level,” says Dillon DeMore, CFO at Symbia Logistics. “From the start of the sales process to the installation of our equipment, everything was top notch and professional. Now we don’t have to worry about that aspect of our business, since we have confidence in our data center partner.”

“As the importance of availability and security grows, we have seen many businesses move away from keeping their critical IT applications in-house,” says Josh Moody, Senior Vice President of Sales at FORTRUST. “Instead, they are choosing to colocate with a high availability data center partner like FORTRUST. We welcome Symbia Logistics and feel honored to have been chosen to be their data center partner.”
