UNCLE Credit Union Announces Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee Election Results for the 2017-2018 Term


LIVERMORE, Calif., Aug. 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UNCLE Credit Union, serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties, re-elected Board Chairman Chung Bothwell and Vice Chairman Randy Werner to serve in their respective leadership positions for the 2017-2018 term. For more than 25 years, Bothwell and Werner have been highly instrumental in the financial cooperative’s growth while helping to ensure its long-term financial health. Bothwell commences her tenth term as Board Chairman as the credit union marks its 60th anniversary this year.

Her education includes a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA).  “A steadfast leadership team and a dedicated staff have enabled us to continue to build solid value for our members while also helping to strengthen the community at large.”

UNCLE Credit Union Board Treasurer Lee Neely and Board Secretary Mila Shapovalov were also re-elected for the 2017-2018 term. Also retaining their seats were Board Directors Ellen Raber and John Stein. In addition, Robin Morris was re-elected to UNCLE‘s Supervisory Committee and Neda Gray was elected to succeed Mark Weiss, who retired this year as Supervisory Committee Chairman. A veteran member of the Committee, Gray brings an extensive background in Information Systems Security to her new role as Chairman. Currently employed as Organizational Information Systems Security Officer for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Gray has a wealth of experience in managing valuable, sensitive data.
