Army Seeks Contractor Upgrade Pedestrian Crossing in Fort Hood

Fort Hood, Texas, Aug. 16, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Department of the Army, Army Contracting Command, MICC, released on Wednesday, August 16 a solicitation in which it outlined plans to issue a contract to a small business enrolled in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) HUBZone program, which will then upgrade a pedestrian crossing at Clear Creek Road and Tank Destroyer Road in Fort Hood, Texas.

The relevant NAICS Code is 238210, with a size standard $15 million, and the Army estimates the projected magnitude of the procurement at between $500,000 and $1 million.

The contractor who receives the contract must provide all plant, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary to complete project, and, according to the solicitation, all work must comply with applicable state, local, and federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms, and conditions.
