As MOD’s first CMO, Cioffi will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, including brand marketing, design, customer insights, local store marketing, digital marketing and communications. Cioffi brings more than 20 years of expertise in building and developing national retail and culinary brands, and most recently served as senior vice president for Sur La Table, Inc., where she developed and managed the integrated marketing strategy for their 130-plus stores and 75 culinary locations. Prior to Sur La Table, Cioffi was vice president and head of marketing for See’s Candies Inc., overseeing marketing and sales for more than 250 stores, and leading e-commerce operations. Cioffi was named to Fortune’s “Most Powerful Women, Next Generation” list and was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as “Executive of the Year.”
Kate Jaspon, who joins MOD’s board of directors, is an 11-year veteran of Dunkin’ Brands where she currently serves as chief financial officer. Jaspon has led several key financial initiatives while at Dunkin’ including the company’s IPO and follow-on offerings, and has steered a cross-functional team responsible for financial and SEC reporting, debt management, cash management, insurance, enterprise risk management, contract administration and records management. In addition, she was a member of the Audit Committee, the Company’s Retirement Committee and was Chair of the Disclosure Committee. Prior to Dunkin’, Jaspon was a senior manager with KPMG where she served as an audit manager for both publicly-traded and privately-held clients in several industries including software, bio-tech, high-tech and manufacturing.
