NEW YORK, Aug. 30, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Texas-based Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:DFRG) will aid the victims of Hurricane Harvey with a goal to exceed $1,000,000 for Houston-area food banks. From Thursday, August 31 through Monday, September 4, 20 percent of sales at all 53 Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Del Frisco’s Grille and Sullivan’s Steakhouse restaurants nationwide will be donated to support the Houston community.

Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group aims to donate more than $1 Million with the help of loyal guests. Diners can visit any Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group location across the country to give back to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

While all of the company’s Houston-area restaurants that closed during the storm to ensure the safety of guests and employees will be open tomorrow, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group is providing payment to all Houston-area employees that were unable to work this week. Internal efforts are also underway through DFRG FEED Employee Support Fund, in which DFRG employees can make donations to support fellow employees affected by Hurricane Harvey and all employee donations will be matched 100 percent by Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group.
