Swinerton and Republic of Korea break ground on new consulate building in Seattle


SEATTLE, Aug. 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Swinerton and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea are pleased to announce the groundbreaking of a new consulate building in uptown Seattle.  The new three-story consulate is expected to complete construction in 2019.                

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Seattle provides South Korean nationals and U.S. citizens or foreign nationals residing in the U.S. with passport and visa services. The Consulate in Seattle holds jurisdiction over five Pacific Northwest states: Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. These five states are home to more than 170,000 Korean-Americans.
