To this role, Petersen brings a broad range of experience in complex analysis and data interpretation using advanced statistical and research methodologies for the design, development and validation of assessments.

Petersen holds a master's degree and Ph.D. in industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology from Bowling Green State University. Petersen has gained practical experience as a consultant to assessment developers, public agencies and commercial enterprises throughout her career. Most recently, she worked as assistant professor of psychology at Radford University.
