REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Host Analytics, the leading provider of scalable, cloud-based enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions, today announced its recognition from Gartner, Inc. in both the Critical Capabilities for Cloud Financial Corporate Performance Management Solutions1 (FCPM) report and the Critical Capabilities for Strategic Corporate Performance Management Solutions2 (SCPM) report. The reports show that Host Analytics received one of the highest product scores for Midsize Organization, Midsize/Large Organization, and Business Unit use cases across both FCPM and SCPM.
The 2017 Critical Capabilities research studies for FCPM and SCPM are the first of its kind to focus on cloud-only solutions. We believe this move reflects the increasing adoption of cloud-based CPM solutions over on-premise offerings and feel it is validation by Gartner that cloud-based solutions are the preferred deployment approach.
“We believe our product scores in both the FCPM and SCPM reports are due to our maturity in the cloud-only market and the breadth and depth of our product offering to support both simple and more complex customer needs in planning, modeling, financial consolidation, and reporting,” said Host Analytics CEO Dave Kellogg.
In the Gartner Critical Capabilities Report for Cloud FCPM, Host Analytics received the highest scores in three out of five use cases. Host Analytics received:
- Highest Score for Midsize Organization ($250M to $1B annual revenue), with a score of 4.10 out of 5
- Highest Score for Midsize/Large Organization ($1B to $3B annual revenue), with a score of 4.06 out of 5
- Highest Score for Business Unit, with a score of 4.06 out of 5
- Third Highest Score for Large Organization, with a score of 4.06 out of 5
- Third Highest Score for EMEA-Based Organization, with a score of 3.88 out of 5
In the Gartner Critical Capabilities Report for Cloud SCPM, Host Analytics received one of the highest scores in three out of six use cases. Host Analytics received:
- Highest Score for Midsize Organization, with a score of 4.09 out of 5
- Shared the Second Highest Score for Midsize/Large Organization, with a score of 4.03 out of 5
- Shared the Highest Score for Business Unit, with a score of 4.07 out of 5
Kellogg added, “We feel our scores in the Critical Capabilities reports demonstrate that companies of all sizes are achieving success with our cloud-based EPM solutions and we believe the most recent reports from Gartner further validates why Host Analytics is positioned as a Leader in both Magic Quadrants for Cloud Financial and Strategic CPM3 announced earlier this year.”
Host Analytics believes its scores reflect the success of its 40,000 users at 700 companies around the world, its functional capabilities, ease of use, and analytics. The company also recently announced a new version of its ward-winning technology for financial planning, modeling, consolidation, and reporting, the Host Analytics Summer17, with a focus on enhanced breakback functionality, improved user experience, and accelerated performance. According to the company, these new features enable finance teams to maximize corporate performance by addressing the more complex planning, consolidation and reporting needs of larger organizations.
Long-time customer National Public Radio (NPR) has achieved great results since deploying Host Analytics as a complete financial business solution.
“Host Analytics has done more than simply move us off static Excel files,” said Reggie Newsome, senior financial analyst for NPR. “We’ve grown our use of Host Analytics over the years, and it’s always been able to scale to the level we need. As we add more data into the system, we can do more sophisticated analytics across budgeting and planning, impacting the entire organization.”
