Houston, Sept. 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Shell Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SHLX) today announced all pipelines owned by the Partnership have been returned to service after a comprehensive assessment of the asset integrity of each system. The Partnership expects outages and repairs related to Hurricane Harvey to have an impact of approximately $15 million on its third quarter 2017 operating income. The majority of the impact is due to outages on the Zydeco system following severe flooding along the Texas Gulf Coast. On Thursday, September 14th, the final segment of Zydeco was returned to service following the successful testing of the system.
Shell Midstream Partners’ primary focus continues to be the safety of employees and the protection of the environment.
