Washington, D.C., Nov. 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Raliance announced the launch of a new, first-of-its-kind interactive resource center to engage the sport community as a partner in ending sexual and domestic violence in one generation. The Sport + Prevention Center includes over 100 resources to create a sport culture that values every individual, reinforces healthy, respectful, gender equitable relationships, and is free of sexual and domestic violence.
This online center is designed to provide individuals and organizations in the sport community with comprehensive solutions to prevent sexual and domestic violence and create an effective and long-term investment from the sport community.
“Everyone must work together to end sexual and domestic violence in one generation,” said Lindsay McDaniel Mapp, National Project Manager at Raliance. “We believe that sport plays a critical role in achieving this vision.”
“We encourage everyone involved in sport – from coaches, administrators, league officials to athletes, parents and fans– to use these resources and join Raliance in demonstrating how sport can part of the solution to prevent sexual and domestic violence,” said Sandra Henriquez, Raliance Managing Partner.
