MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 14, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LBi Software today announced the grand opening of its three-story building in Melville, New York, located at 999 Walt Whitman Road. The HR HelpDesk and sports analytics software company purchased the 25,235-square-foot building for $5.4 million and will occupy the first and second floors of the new building.
This purchase comes on the heels of five years of unprecedented growth for the organization. On top of continued success with HR HelpDesk, LBi launched LBi Dynasty, its custom sports analytics solution, and now has clients in Major League Baseball, the National Football League, and the National Basketball Association. This new software platform’s growth will be spearheaded out of the new facility.
“We’ve been incredibly pleased with our exponential growth over the past five years,” said Richard Teed, LBi Software president and COO. “In that time, we’ve gained clients in three of the four major sports leagues, and 20 percent of the teams in MLB. To celebrate the new building, LBi will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 11 a.m. Local business leaders, associations, and politicians are expected to attend the ceremony.
LBi has invested more than $1 million in renovating the new building to ensure a sleek, modern design for its clients and 55 employees to enjoy. The building will have an open office space design, large break areas, new furniture, and plenty of natural lighting — all located right on the Route 110 corridor, Long Island’s “High-tech Main Street.”
The project was supported by economic development agencies, including Empire State Development Corporation and the Suffolk County IDA.
