INDIANAPOLIS, Nov. 27, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Becknell Industrial announced today that it is nearing completion of an industrial building in the Town of Merrillville in Northwest Indiana. The new state of the art facility is being built on 13 acres within the Company’s NorthWind Crossings Business Park. Ready for occupancy in early 2018, the project provides frontage along, and immediate access to Interstate 65. The Park is strategically located just 25 miles from Chicago.
The new 182,000-square-foot facility can be subdivided and will feature 32' clear height, up to 27 dock doors, two drive-in doors and 119 auto parking spaces. In addition, the property will include 53' x 50' column spacing with 60' loading bays, ESFR sprinkler system and LED lighting.
With this new project, Becknell will have developed eleven buildings exceeding 1,000,000 square feet since 2002 in NorthWind Crossings. The park is currently 100% occupied, including a 160,000 square foot speculative building completed in 2016.
