WASHINGTON, Dec. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LawVision Group, one of the premier management consulting firms for the legal profession, announced today the release of LPMAware, a new program to help legal professionals understand how the key elements of legal project management (LPM) can be used to help manage client expectations, communicate better with the legal matter team internally and connect more efficiently with in-house counsel and client teams. Following the positive response to the recent launch of the enhanced LPM certification e-learning course, LPM LaunchPadTM, LawVision Group is set to roll out LPMAware in January 2018.
“LPM has proven to be a differentiator for law firms competing for work and an invaluable tool to help legal professionals manage tasks in the most efficient way; however, many legal organizations are still struggling to make LPM scalable while ensuring all their professionals truly appreciate the value of LPM,” noted Susan Raridon Lambreth, Principal at LawVision Group and Founder of the LPM Institute. “While partners are not typically legal project managers on a matter, it is critical for them to understand the fundamental concepts to communicate effectively with their clients, as well as with the project managers working on those matters. With LPMAware, there is now a cost-effective resource to educate across the legal organization.”
As an alternative – or complement - to the LPM Institute certification programs, LPMAware will be a 60-minute introduction to the essentials of LPM, providing lawyers and other legal professionals with a better understanding of how to integrate project management principles, skills, processes and behaviors into their management of legal matters on a day-to-day basis.
“Many law firms continue to struggle to find cost-effective ways to respond to client requests for more efficient legal services and provide the necessary training in LPM to their lawyers and as a result, are looking for various training platforms and courses that fit their budgets,” noted Carla Landry, Senior Consultant with LawVision Group. “As law firms plan their annual Attorney Training investments, we wanted to offer LPMAware as an alternative LPM program to reach a wider audience of attorneys and professionals in firms of all sizes.”
