Horizon Media Expands North American Footprint, Launches Horizon Media Canada

18 Year Industry Veteran, Kevin Kivi, Appointed to Lead Agency’s Canadian Operation in Toronto

The new Horizon Media Canada office, located in Toronto’s Liberty Village, brings Horizon Media’s distinct vision and operating model to Canada.

Horizon Media Canada brings to Canada the scale of Horizon Media’s North American footprint along with the agency’s data-driven marketing expertise, resources and strength in the market. Horizon’s expansion further into North America also allows the agency’s existing clients to make the easy decision to extend their relationship with the agency into the Canadian market.

The agency has appointed Kevin Kivi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Horizon Media Canada, to lead its Canadian operation, effective immediately.

Kivi has 18 years of industry experience working across clients that include Mars Wrigley Inc, Dairy Queen, Shell, Bayer, Procter & Gamble, Adidas, Kraft, General Mills, and Cadbury Schweppes. He joins Horizon Media Canada from MediaCom Canada where he was Senior Vice President, Business Director, and focused on operationalizing and commercializing client investments and attracting new talent. He has demonstrated leadership in strategic planning, insight development and problem solving and has been an advocate of client advocacy.

In his role, Kivi will partner with senior leadership at Horizon Media to grow the agency’s Canadian footprint and lead Canadian client teams to relentlessly improve every aspect of client campaign performance. Additionally, he will drive the creation of a vibrant agency culture as the office grows, and will be a member of Horizon Media’s executive board. The position will report directly to Bill Koenigsberg, President, CEO and Founder of Horizon Media.
