Mr. Lynch is active in educational entrepreneurship and has been a leading thinker in corporate learning for over twenty years. He is currently a Senior Fellow at University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education and concurrently serves as Managing Director at StartEd Companies Inc. Mr. Lynch serves as Chief Academic Officer at CUX, Inc. Prior, Mr. Lynch served as the Vice Dean at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and also served as a Director for the Wharton School's Aresty Institute for Executive Education and as a Senior Fellow at the Fels Institute of Government. He launched a Master's Degree at Penn in medical education for physicians and the PennCLO program. Prior, at New York University, Mr. Lynch was an early adopter of e-learning and has testified before Congress and the UN on the subject in the mid-90's. He created "Corporate Learning Services," an advisory program on developing corporate universities for large organizations such as American Express and JetBlue Airways. Mr. Lynch created the Penn GSE-Milken Education Business Plan Competition and a partnership between the University of Pennsylvania and Teach for America to support the corps members serving in Philadelphia. He also helped start Genesis Academy at Arizona State University, one of the first charter schools in the country. Mr. Lynch is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world, he has published a number of works on both education innovation and work-based learning and has sat on presidential and gubernatorial boards. He was the chair of ASTD's public policy forum, the board of visitors for the Central Intelligence Agency and chaired the US delegation to the International Standards Organization. Mr. Lynch has won several awards including the APX award for best program, an HR Executive Top 10 award and a U.S. Presidential award in innovation from the U.S. Department of Commerce. He received a PhD in Economics and Education from Columbia University in 2013, where he also earned an MPhil in Economics and Education in 2010. Mr. Lynch earned an M.B.A. in International Finance from Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University in 1994. He received a B.A. in Economics from Arizona State University in 1987.
