Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In honor of Black History Month and Women’s History Month, DHG has launched a two-month, firm-wide celebration of inclusion and diversity. Throughout February and March, DHG is spotlighting its people, their stories and its inclusive, ONE DHG work environment – the elements that make DHG truly unique.
As part of the campaign, DHG has released the second issue of its inclusion and diversity focused publication, Greater Together (view publication). This print and digital magazine is a collection of stories and interviews from the firm’s Life at DHG blog and podcast series, celebrating diversity from various angles. The content centers on topics such as unconscious bias, making an impact and seizing new opportunities, as well as nationally recognized celebrations such as Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, and more.
“I am incredibly proud of our ONE DHG culture and am excited to celebrate our extraordinary people and their passion, authenticity and diverse perspectives,” said Effin Logue, DHG Chief People Officer. “For us, an inclusive work environment means every person on the DHG team feels safe and valued regardless of gender, race, skill set, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, differently-abled individuals, work style, alma mater or any other differentiating factor. We are one team and a career building organization for all.”
DHG’s digital platforms and social media channels will mirror the inclusion and diversity theme, with special features on the Life at DHG blog, such as a blog from DHG’s Danielle Likibi on celebrating her foundation (read here), and the Life at DHG podcast series, including an exclusive podcast interview with Dr. Nika White on the intersection of business, diversity, and leadership (listen here).
