ADVISORY, Feb. 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stratford announced that it is dismissing its proposed class action against Trinity Industries Inc., Trinity Highway Products, LLC, and Trinity Industries Canada LLP. The claim was commenced by Stratford in 2015 and related to the ET Plus® guardrail end terminal system. A recent decision of the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals noted that the Federal Highway Administration has consistently reaffirmed the ET-Plus® end terminal system meets all applicable safety performance standards and has maintained an “unbroken chain” of governmental approval from 2005 to the present.
The dismissal was approved by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
