The asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program, an independent program administered by ASL with their partner AAFA, helps consumers identify products more suitable for people with asthma and allergies. In order to receive the asthma & allergy friendly® Mark, a product or service must undergo and pass through a rigorous series of proprietary lab test- proving they help reduce exposure to allergens and irritants, provide increased environmental control and withstand routine cleaning and care guidelines. More than thirty different scientific standards have now been developed by Allergy Standards and a large variety of products have been certified for all rooms in the home including air filters, vacuum cleaners, paints and toys.
