Mr. Koefoed joins Blue Nile with extensive experience in the financial management of digital-focused companies. Most recently, he acted as Partner and CFO for BCG Digital Ventures, a corporate investment and incubation firm. Prior to that, Mr. Koefoed was CFO at Puppet Labs, a leader in IT automation, for which he was named CFO of the Year by Portland Business Journal in 2015. During his time at Microsoft, from 2005-2013, he led the company’s investor relations group and served as CFO of Skype.

Mr. Koefoed received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
