WAYNE, N.J., March 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc., will introduce Exa™ Cardio to cardiologists as a first-time exhibitor at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) 67th Annual Scientific Session & Expo, being held March 10-12 in Orlando, FL. Exa Cardio is a module of the Exa Enterprise Imaging platform that includes PACS, RIS, EHR and specialty viewers and can be used as an integrated solution or individually with a facility’s existing software technology, further enhancing an organization’s return on investment.
Exa Cardio employs the company’s diagnostic-quality Zero Footprint Universal Viewer for DICOM and non-DICOM images, and Server-Side Rendering for fast access to large files, such as echocardiograms and nuclear cardiac exams. With Server-Side Rendering, cardiologists have on-demand access to large imaging studies with no caching regardless of location. Zero Footprint viewing means clinicians can view patient studies and reports from any operating system, browser, device or workstation with no software installation or upgrade required.
“With Exa Cardio, cardiologists can access cardiac imaging studies anywhere and at any time through a customizable and user-friendly solution that delivers the advanced functionality they require,” says Steve Deaton, President of Healthcare IT at Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc. “Cardiac imaging is invaluable in helping cardiologists diagnose cardiac disease at various stages and monitor treatment regimens. Konica Minolta Healthcare is excited to demonstrate our solution that enables access to DICOM studies, such as CT and MR, as well as non-DICOM studies, including echocardiograms and nuclear cardiac exams.”
Structured reporting is user friendly with tree-style point-and-click that requires no typing and is customizable for each site. Exa Cardio delivers instant access to echocardiograms, including priors, with user-customizable formats. Stress echocardiograms are synchronized and displayed side-by-side by stage and view for treadmill and pharmacologic stress exams. Exa also seamlessly integrates with third-party solutions for advanced and 3D quantification of echocardiograms, as well as review and reporting of nuclear cardiac studies and ECG.
Real-time Performance Dashboards deliver intelligent analytics to department or practice administrators by tracking in real time exam volume, clinical performance and referring physician ordering patterns. A Custom Workflow Engine enables each facility to design its own preferred imaging workflow using drag and drop tools to define the entire process step-by-step to enhance staff efficiency and clinical productivity.
Attendees can visit the Konica Minolta Healthcare booth #1237 to learn more about Exa Cardio and the company’s entire portfolio of Healthcare IT solutions.
