JACKSONVILLE, FL, March 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green Energy Enterprises, Inc. (OTC Pink: GYOG) ("GYOG" or “the Company”) announced today that our flight operations continue to soar. GYOG’s subsidiary, A-Cent Aviation, Inc., located in Jacksonville, Florida, acquired another Cessna 172 aircraft to add to our fleet to meet flight training and air tour demands. A-Cent continues to maximize the capacity and utilization of all the aircraft in our fleet. A-Cent intends to acquire another aircraft in the near future as demand continues to flourish at our flight operations. We are also in discussions to expand our flight operations to include a helicopter for potential training and air tours, we intend to embark this endeavor within the year.
Airline hiring trends back this decision up, with regionals, legacy, and majors all rapidly hiring in large numbers that have not been seen since the pre-9/11 era. The Boeing Pilot Outlook predicts “a need for 117,000 new pilots between 2017 and 2036 in North America alone. Worldwide, the demand for new pilots will be an astounding 637,000 during the same period.” This movement in the aviation industry are under-appreciated drivers of overall aviation industry strength right now with primary flight training picking up as new pilots chase a career with the airlines.
Also worth noting is that more Remote Pilot certificates are being issued than Private Pilot certificates. This is why A-Cent Aviation has increased its training curriculum to include drone pilot training as well as proctoring FAA written exams for these certifications. This is yet another indicator of how the makeup of the pilot population is changing and we are continuing to follow the direction of the aviation industry to allow us to be a top contender for aviation training.
It is reported that over the next five years, the flight training industry is projected to grow. As the economic recovery accelerates, per capita disposable income is expected to expand, as are corporate profit levels. Flight training is currently a 3 billion dollar industry and GYOG is making a significant stance in this industry.
The Company does not plan to do a reverse stock split. In alternative, we have increased our authorized shares to two billion, four hundred, and ninety million shares. The Company will continue to provide updates to our shareholders and investment community through Twitter and national press releases.
