The annual rankings measure organizations by workforce size: midsize companies with 1,000 to 5,000 employees, and large companies with more than 5,000 employees. The top 500 companies in each category are selected for the list. First Horizon ranked No. 283 in the midsize category.
Collaborating with research firm Statista, Forbes publishes the annual list that measures data collected from anonymous, independent online surveys sampling more than 30,000 employees in 25 industry sectors.
Employees evaluate companies on factors such as working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image. Respondents are also asked to rate their willingness to recommend their company to family and friends.
