BRIDGEWATER, N.J., May 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OmniJoin®, the teleheath and video conferencing service from Brother International Corporation, today announced a new strategic partnership with GoMo Health, a leading provider of population health management systems for healthcare plans, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. The new alliance aims to help improve remote care coordination across the continuum of care and throughout the patient journey.
Today’s healthcare delivery models are becoming less sustainable as patient engagement demands and expectations continue to evolve. “Patients want more flexibility when it comes to engaging with their providers,” said Bob Gold, CEO of Gold Group Enterprises, the parent company of GoMo Health. “Our Concierge Care platform can help streamline patient communication efforts, allowing them to have better access to their providers through various channels resulting in improved outcomes. The venture with OmniJoin will amplify our video visit capabilities to provide a more personalized remote care delivery experience.”
This new platform feature has already made headway into the market with GoMo Health customers. Schraft’s 2.0, an advanced specialty pharmacy with emphasis on fertility, is a case-in-point. “Many of our patients are busy professionals. We want to cater to their needs and the obvious choice was implementing a secure video system that will allow patients from all 50 states to speak directly with our expert team,” explained Adam Hait, RPh, president of Schraft’s 2.0.
As the popularity of telehealth services continues to grow, the need for more complete programs that address patient demand is at an all-time high. “The healthcare market is rapidly changing, and it’s exciting to be part of a new era of patient engagement capabilities,” said Bill Henderson, Brother OmniJoin vice president of marketing. “We’re thrilled GoMo Health turned to us to be its video visit solutions partner and are looking forward to seeing the progressive possibilities in the coming months and years.”
