SEATTLE, WA, May 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TDWI, the leading source for in-depth education and research for analytics and data management, today announced its new online assessment tool for advanced analytics. This questionnaire objectively measures the maturity of an enterprise’s advanced analytics program across five dimensions with a focus on machine learning and predictive analytics.
The accompanying TDWI Advanced Analytics Maturity Model Guide describes current trends in the field, explores the maturity model in depth, provides evidence-based recommendations for implementing advanced practices, and explains how to interpret scores from the assessment tool.
“Advanced analytics is being deployed in a range of use cases across business units and industries, especially as data types and volume increase,” writes Fern Halper, vice president and senior director of TDWI Research for advanced analytics and the author of the guide. “There is clearly value to be gained. ... In fact, at TDWI we consistently see that organizations that become more sophisticated with analytics are more likely to measure top- or bottom-line impact.”
The assessment quantifies an enterprise’s maturity across key dimensions: organization, data infrastructure, resources, analytics, and governance. Because organizations can be at different maturity levels in each dimension, the assessment tool scores each dimension separately and provides an overall score participants can compare with other organizations.
Users can take the online assessment at tdwi.org/assessments.
