Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Patient-centric eClinical solutions, the impact of Brexit on clinical research and the latest trends in pharmaceutical research topped the agenda at Innovation Forum Europe 2018, a customer summit hosted by OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OTCQX: OMCM), a leading global provider of clinical data management technology. The event was recently held in Bonn, Germany and drew a large crowd of attendees, speakers and sponsors.
The number of companies that sent participants to Innovation Forum Europe increased by more than 30 percent — an event record — relative to last year’s gathering in Barcelona, Spain. The 2018 audience included attendees from 14 countries, representing 30 life science companies. During the two-day event, attendees heard presentations from industry thought leaders, academic researchers and OmniComm customers who have achieved significant gains in clinical trials productivity, automation, data quality, operational efficiency and compliance using OmniComm’s suite of EDC products.
“We thank our attendees, speakers and event partners for contributing to the success of this year’s Innovation Forum Europe. Our networking event was designed to provide a forum to discuss key industry topics, exchange thoughts and best practices, and to showcase OmniComm’s commitment to innovation and ongoing development in the healthcare industry,” said Yvonne Rollinger, Ph.D., managing director of OmniComm Europe GmbH.
During the event, OmniComm introduced several new eClinical products, including TrialMaster® Version 5, Acuity Analytics, AutoEncoder, IRTMaster and the latest version of TrialOne®. Attendees also participated in product workshops offering free training and skills enhancement with TrialMaster EDC and TrialOne. Event sponsors included: Bio-Optronics, Kayentis, pharmasol and Suvoda. The event was live-tweeted under the hashtag: #OMCMEurope2018.
