Conferize now has more than 50,000 users. New revenue stream on the way.
Conferize, which was listed on Nasdaq First North a year ago, has just passed 50,000 users on the Company's digital platform. This is a growth of 56 % since the IPO. The growth has been achieved solely on the basis of a prototype of Conferize’s software, which is a digital tool for the global event and conference industry.
Conferize will introduce a Version 2 of the software before end of 2018.
With the launch of Version 2, Conferize will also introduce ticket fees. Ticket fees is an important step towards capitalizing on the development. In accordance with previous announcements, the management still expects to become cash flow positive within 3-5 years.
"With Version 2 we’ll take the first steps towards making Conferize a profitable business. We will still be able to undercut the market with a superior product. Even with low prices, the revenue potential in relation to ticket fees is strong. We can serve a huge global market with a scalable self-service product without significant operating costs," says CEO Martin Ferro-Thomsen, who is pleased to announce that Conferize now has more than 50,000 users:
"We are really proud of our growth, not least because it’s achieved with a limited prototype. Although 50,000 users are far from the end goal, it's not an insignificant milestone. And if we at the same time look at the event organizers, which is our primary target group, we have more than tripled their number since the IPO. Everything indicates that our concept hits the spot in the market, "says CEO Martin Ferro-Thomsen.
In relation to the one-year anniversary of the Conferize IPO, a new investor portal is launched at invest.conferize.com. Here it will be possible to follow the development in the company including gaining insight into the growth of the platform.
