About Michael Bauerschmidt, MD
Dr. Bauerschmidt is a former emergency room physician who found himself immersed in functional medicine following a car accident that left him in debilitating pain. When Western medicine failed to give him relief, he turned to more natural methods of healing, which led to his recovery. Through his practice and his own experience, Dr. Bauerschmidt realized that for a patient to fully heal from a chronic condition or illness, they must first remove the environmental toxicants from their body.
