LEHI, Utah, Aug. 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DSCO, a leading inventory networking platform, today announced that Vance Checketts has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Vance will work alongside DSCO’s existing team, providing support for DSCO’s growing partnerships with enterprise omnichannel retailers and their partner brands.
“Every investment in retail today is about taking the consumer experience to the next level. That means tackling the extremely complex data sharing challenges that have persisted in the supply chain for decades,” DSCO’s Founder & CEO Jeremy Hanks said. “Vance has strong experience solving hard data problems for the enterprise and in supporting rapid, disruptive growth. The DSCO team is thrilled to have him on board as we work to help retail surpass the expectations of the digital consumer.”
Vance brings 30 years of experience leading teams to develop and deliver solutions for today’s hardest enterprise supply chain challenges. He joins DSCO from Dell EMC, where he was General Manager for the 1,400 team members of their Utah operation. Previously, Vance was COO of Mozy (prior to it’s acquisition by EMC in 2007) after having spent over a decade leading product strategy and solution architecture with Oracle for their supply chain applications.
“I am honored to join this amazing team at a time when my skills and experience are so relevant. It feels like everything in my past has been preparing me for this next step. I look forward to DSCO’s growth as we help the world’s retail supply chain connect to better serve us all,” Checketts said.
Last year DSCO partnered with 3 of the top 20 retailers in the United States and has further expanded with 5 additional enterprise retail partners joining the platform in 2018. This after Nordstrom announced its investment and partnership with DSCO back in July, 2016.
