Attendees will come away from this webinar with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges around mobile identity in these industries,” said Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Secure Technology Alliance. “This webinar is part of a larger Alliance identity initiative where ultimately we will provide a cross-industry landscape assessment for mobile identity credentialing.”
The key takeaways from this webinar will be an understanding of:
- The Secure Technology Alliance’s mobile identity assessment initiative
- Challenges with patient identity in healthcare and how mobile identity can help streamline patient experiences and benefit the healthcare provider by reducing duplicate records, increasing patient payments and ensuring patient data availability
- How the transit industry can improve the customer experience, service efficiency and prevent fraud by enabling travelers to plan, book and pay for service seamlessly via mobile device
- How digital identity ecosystem participants in Canada created a digital identity network called Verified.Me that provides security, convenience and speed to consumers when verifying information to services that require a high level of trust in identity verification and authentication
- The next steps in leveraging mobile ID credentials
This is the third webinar in the Alliance’s series on mobile identity credentialing. The first webinar, “Identity on a Mobile Device,” discussed mobile driver’s licenses and derived PIV credentials. The second webinar, “Identity on a Mobile Device: Access Control Use Cases,” explored the uses of mobile identity credentials for accessing physical facilities, computers, networks and online applications.
Those interested in learning more about digital identity credentials can attend the Secure Technology Alliance’s Securing Digital Identity 2018, which will be held December 4-5 in Washington, D.C.
