LOUIS, Sept. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RIBUS Inc. will launch its latest clean label excipient for tablets, Nu-BIND, this fall at SupplySide West in Las Vegas, with an official announcement of the new product at the functional ingredient manufacturing company’s annual breakfast event from 8:30-10 a.m. on Fri., Nov. 9, at Border Grill, Mandalay Bay and at the Mandalay Bay Expo Hall, booth 2574. Nu-BIND is RIBUS’ sixth product launched as part of its clean label portfolio. RIBUS ingredients work as alternatives and functional solutions for conventional and certified organic products to improve production efficiencies and allow for clean label declarations.
Nu-BIND is designed to act as a natural alternative to synthetic and plasticized binders, making the production of certified organic tablets possible. Nu-BIND, will remove a major hurdle facing many natural and organic supplement companies wishing to make “clean label claims,” and enable the $1.2 billion organic supplement industry to expand even further. The make-up of Nu-BIND includes guar gum, gum arabic, agave fiber, rice hulls and agave syrup to work as a binder.
