In January-July 2018, Lietuvos Energija generated revenue of EUR 812.3 million, which is 16.9% more compared to a respective period of 2017 (EUR 694.7 million). The Group's revenue has grown due to the price change in the gas and electricity markets and higher demand for electricity and gas, with lower average air temperature compared to the same period last year.
The adjusted EBITDA indicator of the Group was equal to EUR 155.8 million, i.e. 3.5% more compared to a respective period of 2017 (EUR 150.6 million). The growth of the indicator was driven by a better result from the distribution of electricity and gas due to more efficient operation and increased investment in renewal and modernization of distribution networks.
