Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LCS announced today that Monica Friedman was hired as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, reporting to Joel Nelson, president and CEO. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of human resources for Nationwide and joins LCS on November 12, 2018.

Friedman brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to LCS. As a senior executive with Nationwide, she was responsible for developing and implementing companywide recruitment and talent development strategies, creating organizational structures that supported long-term strategic goals, and providing HR guidance and counsel to senior leaders.

Friedman serves on the boards of United Way of Central Iowa, Mercy Hospital Des Moines, and Business Education Alliance. Friedman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in industrial relations human resources from The University of Iowa.
