DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), an Alion company, announced today that two of its Human Resources experts were recently selected to participate on a National Labor Exchange (NLx) Steering Committee, and as a panelist at a regional seminar on employee engagement hosted by NFP® Corp. MacB HR Director Michelle Stark, SPHR, and coworker Lori Greek, HR Generalist, were chosen for their professional expertise and external interactions administering employee benefits and retirement plans, equal opportunity and affirmative action compliance management, and delivering best practices/policies throughout the organization. Both work at MacB’s Corporate Headquarters office in Dayton.
As the newest member of the NLx Steering Committee, Ms. Greek was hand-selected because of her interaction with the Ohio Industry Liaison Group. The 20-person steering committee meets twice annually as a team at various locations across the country with the goal of leveraging private, nonprofit-owned technology and state workforce resources to collect and distribute jobs found exclusively on corporate sites and job boards.
Ms. Stark served as a panelist and speaker last month at the Bethesda Marriott in Rockville, Maryland due to her specialized expertise on employee engagement in the government contracting community. She is a certified HR expert with more than 18 years of experience administering employee benefit packages and programs including life, vision, and health/dental insurance, 401(k) plans, and disability/voluntary insurance programs.
“MacB’s company culture has focused on mission success, employee development, integrity, and delivering outstanding customer results for almost 40 years in business,” said Mia Kerivan-O’Malley, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for MacB. “Those priorities have not changed, but our HR and Recruiting teams have grown MacB’s technical staff exponentially by offering competitive wages and benefits packages that make us the employer of choice. I want to personally congratulate Michelle and Lori for so successfully representing MacB through their outstanding leadership with the external community.”
