Automox Quadruples Revenue, Continues Momentum with Year of Record Growth

Revenue and staff growth, including the hire of industry talent Bryan Gale as chief product officer, highlight the company’s continued commitment to cybersecurity innovation through its modern automated patch management platform


Boulder, Colo., Dec. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Automox, a global provider of cloud-based patch management and endpoint protection solutions, is closing 2018 with record revenue and employee growth, the addition of key senior staff, a new board member and increased customer acquisition velocity.  

Automox revenue grew by 400 percent in the past 12 months, and the company attracted top-tier engineering and SaaS talent, including new Chief Product Officer Bryan Gale. Gale was most recently chief product officer at CyberGRX and has also held leadership positions at Cylance (acquired by Blackberry), McAfee (acquired by Intel) and Webroot Software.

This growth comes on the heels of $9.3 million in Series A funding, announced in November, and the appointment of security industry veteran Tom Noonan to its board of directors. A 20-plus-year veteran of the information security industry, Noonan brings extensive experience to the Automox board. He is a general partner at TechOperators and former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Internet Security Systems Inc., which was acquired in 2007 by IBM for $1.3 billion.
