Orlando, Florida, Feb. 05, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Adacel Systems Inc. (Adacel or the Company) is pleased to announce that the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded the company a prime contract on the SeaPort Next Generation (NxG) contract vehicle.
SeaPort NxG is a multiple award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year base period plus optional five-year periods of performance. The Navy estimates it will procure approximately $5 billion of services per year, giving SeaPort NxG a potential maximum value of $50 billion.
SeaPort NxG is the Navy’s primary contract vehicle to provide the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps with a variety of engineering and program management support services. Adacel has expertise and past performance in multiple Seaport NxG functional support areas such as:
- Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis
- Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network
- Research and Development
- System Design Documentation and Technical Data
- Logistics
- Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information
- Technology (IT)
Through this prime contract award, Adacel is eligible to compete nationally for individual task orders in support of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps under the Seaport NxG program.
