Atlanta, GA, March 04, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New Acquisitions of Atlanta, GA – a promotional advertising and marketing firm – participated in Red Shoe Society’s Tinsel & Tidings Event on December 11, 2018. New Acquisitions consistently exemplifies a culture of charitable giving so was only fitting that they continued to do so by participating in events like Tinsel and Tidings.
According to Ronald McDonald House Charities’ website, their mission “is to nurture the health and well-being of children and their families.” Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) acknowledges that when a child is seriously ill or injured they often have to receive specialized care, which is typically far from home. Furthermore, RMHC knows that the presence of family in a time of crisis is incredibly important to the healing process. Thus, they provide housing and meals for these families nearby to specialized hospitals. Additionally, being on site allows families to be able to communicate with the medical team and keep up with treatment plans.
Red Shoe Society is a faction of RMHC, whose purpose is to raise awareness and funds for RMHC by means of fundraising events and further initiatives. Red Shoe society of Atlanta “is open to young professionals in the Atlanta area who seek to lend a helping hand in meeting the needs of nearly 1,500 families served by [RMHC] houses annually.”
New Acquisitions was excited to hear about the Red Shoe Society Event and wanted to participate. Sara Simpson, Human Resources Coordinator at New Acquisitions, was elated to be a part of the event. “I’ve known about Ronald McDonald House Charities for years and wholeheartedly support what they do. It was an awesome opportunity to participate in their event and contribute to the cause.”
