Through April 12, 2019, the public will have the chance to nominate certified or accredited educators, currently working in a teaching position across the U.S. and Canada, who have brought joy into education, enhancing students’ love for learning. At the close of the contest, Norwegian Cruise Line will vet and reward 15 teachers with a seven-day cruise for two of their choice, and provide airfare and accommodations to an exclusive award ceremony in Seattle on May 3, where they will have the chance to win $15,000 towards their school.
Showcasing its commitment to family and community, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Giving Joy campaign hopes to inspire and spread a sense of joy and goodness to as many people as possible for generations to come, through education and its important connection with travel. From cultural awareness to global acceptance, travel provides a broader sense of perspective and encourages compassion in a meaningful way.
