WALDORF, Md., March 26, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake’s Community Cash Mob is shopping for a cause in April to help support local non-profits. The Community Cash Mob is a group of Community Bank employees spending money together at selected local businesses and encouraging the public to do the same. The Community Bank team will also be handing out a limited number of vouchers to customers to spend at the business during the cash mob.
The Community Cash Mob will visit the following businesses:
- Shoppe for Hospice (Calvert Hospice), Saturday, April 13, 2019, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Good Stuff (Health Partners), Wednesday, April 17, 2019, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Hooks and Hangers (Spring Dell), Wednesday, April 24, 2019, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Rappahannock Goodwill, Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
The Community Cash Mob’s purpose is to engage the community in a fun and unique way to support local businesses and reinvest in the community. “We are so grateful to Community Bank for giving us the opportunity to have a Cash Mob," said Sandy McGraw, Volunteer of Good Stuff. “We created the shop so we could generate an income stream for our charitable organization.”
