First Seminar on Hydrogen and Mobility Organized by CUTRIC-CRITUC


TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec, April 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC-CRITUC) is holding today its first seminar on hydrogen and mobility. The seminar kicks off a series of CUTRIC-CRITUC initiatives to inform key players in the field of mobility and low greenhouse gas emissions.

This seminar brings together the main players in the field of electric fuel cell (hydrogen) mobility. Ballard, New Flyer, Hydrogenics, BAE system and Enbridge will present their latest technology at the seminar.

Québec, with its transportation electrification policy, has every interest in exploring all low-carbon sustainable mobility technologies and the seminar will meet the needs of the various stakeholders in the community, transit agencies, municipal representatives and at the governmental level.

The Quebec government will be represented at the seminar by Mr. Richard Campeau, MP for Bourget, Parliamentary Assistant for the Environment. The Member of Parliament for Trois-Rivières, Robert Aubin, will also speak.
