Trego, WI, May 02, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- Clikia Corp. (OTC PINK: CLKA) announced today that it has secured the services of two veteran airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanics to develop and lead the company’s planned general aviation/jet maintenance hub in Wisconsin.
“These two experienced A&P mechanics, both Cirrus-trained, will be the operational heartbeat, as it were, for our initial phase of business, as we establish our planned private jet charter service,” said Dean Sukowatey, CLKA’s recently installed CEO. “We have secured the services of two of the best A&P mechanics in the industry; they will begin full-time with our company when we have obtained an appropriate level of funding,” added Mr. Sukowatey. Mr. Sukowatey added that the A&P mechanics also have extensive experience with most General Aviation Single and Light Twin piston aircraft and will be trained specifically for the Embraer Phenom 100 very light jet (VLJ), the preferred aircraft of the company.
Cirrus Training. The Cirrus factory training gives technicians the ability to do repairs and service that is in line with the approved procedures and repair specifications specific to the Cirrus aircraft. These functions include airframe and power plant repairs, including engine repairs, overhaul and replacement, composite repairs and parachute repacking, as well as Service Bulletin and Airworthy Directives. From 2001 through 2018, Cirrus Aircraft have earned an approximate 49% market share of single engine piston aircraft.
An A&P Mechanic. The job duties of an A&P mechanic vary from preventive aircraft maintenance to aircraft repairs. In addition, an A&P mechanic is charged with making routine inspections, documenting inspections and repairs, performing scheduled maintenance and running post-repair/maintenance tests. An A&P mechanic is responsible for knowing all FAA regulations relating to maintenance schedules, inspections and repairs made to aircraft.
