Jostens, the leading provider of custom, hand-crafted fine jewelry for professional sports teams, unveiled the Canadian Football League’s 2018 Grey Cup Championship Ring last night. In a ceremony the Calgary Stampeders presented the rings to players, coaches and staff.
The rings celebrate Calgary Stampeders 2018 season in which they have achieved the ultimate goal, by becoming Grey Cup Champions.

Conquering the Grey Cup Championship for the eighth time, a remarkable accomplishment, an equally spectacular ring has been crafted to commemorate the historic championship run.
The Calgary Stampeders Grey Cup Championship Ring is crafted from 10-karat white and yellow gold with diamonds. The Stampeders logo is created with 44 pave-set diamonds and is set atop a red, diamond-cut created stone. An additional 134 diamonds surround the logo and create a cascading waterfall effect down the ring top edges. The words “GREY CUP CHAMPIONS” accent the top and bottom edges of the ring top in contrasting yellow gold.
The right side of the ring features the championship year date of 2018 set in 23 diamonds with eight Grey Cups with the years of the Stampeders championships. The eighth and largest Grey Cup pays tribute to the franchise’s most recent championship. Accenting either side of the trophy are the team name “CALGARY STAMPEDERS”. The left side of the ring features the recipient’s name above the football with the Canadian Football League’s initials or the player’s number set with diamonds. Below that is the individual’s title with football field yard lines detailed in the background.
The interior of the ring has the team’s motto “12 STRONG” above the logos and winning score of the Grey Cup Championship.
The intricate ring tells the story of the Calgary Stampeders season with a total of 201 white diamonds for a total carat weight of 3.5 carats. The elements all come together to form a highly symbolic championship ring worthy of the greatness of the club.
