SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 21, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Last week Zephyr Real Estate, in conjunction with Drive Clean Marin and the Marin County Sustainability Office, joined together for It’s Time to Go Green! The event, held in the Bon Air Center parking lot, offered energy-efficiency programs for homeowners and presented information about electric vehicles.
Free energy-saving kits were distributed and included LED light bulbs, power strips and aerators and many rebate programs available for making energy-efficient upgrades for insulation, furnaces, water heaters, duct system repairs and smart thermostats.
Drive Clean Marin showcased a number of electric vehicles, including e-bikes, to learn how easily it is to go green. A wealth of information was available on the many opportunities available to reduce one’s carbon footprint.

Drive Clean Marin, a part of Drive Clean Bay Area and a nonprofit organization, is a new collaborative campaign created to meet California’s goals for reducing carbon emissions. They seek to inspire and educate residents to make the switch from fossil-fueled vehicles to those powered by renewable energy.
