(“Societal”; NASDAQ: SCTL), a contract development and manufacturing organization (“CDMO”) dedicated to solving complex formulation and manufacturing challenges primarily in small molecule therapeutic development, today announced the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 20,750,000 shares of its common stock (or common stock equivalents) at a public offering price of $0.40 per share of common stock (or common stock equivalent), for gross proceeds of $8.3 million, before underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses. The offering is expected to close on or about August 28, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC is acting as the sole managing underwriter for the offering.
