Tarrytown, New York, Oct. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP (ENTA) is delighted to welcome otolaryngologist Fasil Mathews, M.D. to its West Side, Manhattan, NY office effective August 1, 2024.
Dr. Mathews graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also earned his medical degree. He then completed his otolaryngology residency at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Mathews has co-authored publications on a wide range of topics including HPV-Associated Oropharyngeal Cancer, and HIV infections and head and neck tumors.
Recruiting the next generation of physicians is critical to ENTA’s growth strategy. As the nation faces a growing shortage of physicians, access to care in a timely fashion is becoming ever more challenging. In January 2025, Dr. Mathews will transition full-time to a brand-new office currently under construction in Forest Hills, Queens. This relocation will seamlessly integrate Dr. Mathews into ENTA's Forest Hills team, comprised of otolaryngologists Michael Alleva, M.D., Soha Ghossaini, M.D., and allergist/immunologist Rosalia Ayuso, M.D. He will be joined there by Kimberly Brownell, CCC-SLP.
