SAN DIEGO, Calif., Jan. 20, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Charles Kallmann, chief executive officer and president of Hydrogiene Corporation (OTC BB:HICS), stated today that Polymer Research (Nasdaq:PROA) has advised completion of Hydrogiene's proprietary, advanced, new, anti-bacterial protection sprays (powder) and coatings program is expected to be ready for marketing in late April or early May of this year.
The FDA approved spray and coatings are designed for application to all Hydrogiene Mediclenze and Theraclenze products and accessories. Hydrogiene intends to sell the products as a purse sized spray, as well as a commercially sized spray for use by hotels, restaurants, medical facilities and residential use. The Company will license "Medigard" on an international basis, as well. Medigard is formulated to kill a wide variety of bacteria such as various strains of E-Coli, Staf, salmonella, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes and thirteen other such bacteria. "Medigard" is resistant to cleaning, auto-claving, heat and other such cleansing and sterilization processes, with a four-year killing period. World wide patent protection will be sought.
