Sensitron Announces $1.2m Deal With Northrop Grumman


DEER PARK, NY, March 10, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sensitron Semiconductor, A Division of RSM Electron Power, Inc. Deer Park, NY, has been awarded an agreement worth $1.2 million dollars over a two-year period from the Northrop Grumman company, Baltimore, MD. Sensitron will supply semiconductor devices ranging from transistor products to complex microcircuit modules.

Sensitron is a manufacturer of high reliability military, space/aerospace level semiconductor/microelectronic devices, and has been a supplier of such devices for this military contract giant's LONGBOW Project since 1996.

Sensitron is currently negotiating a three-year option agreement in addition to the impending two-year award. As a result of this agreement, all subsequent purchase orders will support the company's LONGBOW Program's power supply semiconductor requirements for the next five years.
